HI I think this is a Win XP issue. I have uninstalled my Vodafone VMB software from my netbook (no cddvd drive) at a time. On trying to re-instal by plugging in the modem, Win XP gave error code 39 in Device Manager under 'DVD/CD-ROM drives -----Vodafone USB SCSI CD-ROM USB Device' Vodafone supplies their software and modem drivers pre-installed on the modem - its plug in and install. Windows identifies the device as a Vodafone USB device under Device Manager - USB controllers as MBB mass storage filter. And that is all.
I have tried to manually install their software (downloaded the file) with no success. I have also tried to update the driver in Device Manager - no success. I have tried to uninstall the VMB software and delete all references to Vodafone in the Registry and then plug in - no success - same error. Any help would be appreciated. Did you remove all Vodafone software from Add-Remove programs?
Sambomaster wa kimi ni katarikakeru rar. I like the fact that the front man is a cool geek.
Open Device Manager - then insert the modem [dongle] It should now load and be installed under DVD/CD-Rom Drives. You should now see listed under DVD/CD- Rom drives - HUAWEI Mass Storage USB Device and Vodafone software should now start installing. That as you know takes some time and the Command prompt window also flashes up a few times. You should also see the icon in the task bar [safely remove drives] - showing two drives, Drive E: and Drive D: - it may be different drives on your Pc.
Should the Vodafone connection window now open - check under Manage Devices. K365 [yours may be different] should be set to Default.
And Status should be Active. Updating drivers by Device Manager - not a good idea, download any software from Vodafone and transfer to your netbook.
Hi I am using a netbook with no CD/DVD drive. A few images of the Devices by connection: Image A: Plus VMB no modem Image B: Plus VMB plus modem Image C: No VMB no modem Image D: No VMB plus modem Few remarks: VMB = Vodafone Mobile Broadband software This problem only started after I tried to re-install the software by inserting the modem.
First time round everything worked fine. Doesn't matter what I do win xp generates error 39. It stops just before it can download and install the drivers.
