Since then I have been trying to remarry the drive so I have installed MLT 9.99 noBD and used the factory service tool to enter factory service mode because my psp would never do the job. My ps3 is now in factory service mode however I cannot get the remarry application to run and I also cannot get the STEP 2 lv2diag.self to work any ideas? Additional information - Bluetooth controller takes a very long time to sync with the system in the XMB and the recovery menu also the wifi cannot connect either. Maybe the bad wifi card is causing some sort of delay that won't allow the usb ports to activate until its past the timing window? This is just a guess since it takes so long for recovery menu to register the Controller even while directly plugged into the usb port. Thanks for any advice please let me know if there is any important information I have skipped over. Going with the idea that I had nothing to lose (or tricking myself into thinking that) I unplugged the ribbon cable from the wifi board and had the STEP 1 Lv2Diag on my usb along with rogero 3.55 v3.7.

IT WORKED the ps3 the firmware now I'm ready to try the remarry. Hopefully it will fix my BD issues. You can remarry on rogero 3.55 v3.7. You can remarry on any 3.55, even OFW. Heck, you can even remarry on 4.81 CFW nowadays.

What model is your PSP? 3000 models will not work with the PS3Jig app. It looks like its working, but doesn't do the job. If you have a 2000 or 1000 model, it has to be on 5.50 CFW.

When remarrying on MLT noBD 3.55, it will show a big pink NG like it didn't work. But that is just because of the BDemu patches, and you have to install a regular firmware to find out if it worked. But if your problem is it will not even run the remarry process. Then most likely is the files you are using. Make sure to have them all on a FAT32 USB drive, and don't forget the OFW 3.30 pup file renamed to PS3UPDAT.PUP.
